On December 8, Yahoo Japan reported that former ice-skater Yuzuru Hanyu might be required to pay his ex-wife 200 million yen (approximately 1.3 million USD) following their 105-day marriage.

According to Japanese media reports, the primary cause of the breakup was the discord between Yuzuru Hanyu’s mother and his ex-wife.

Yuzuru Hanyu Parents & Early Life

Yuzuru Hanyu, born on December 7, 1994, hails from Sendai, Miyagi, Japan, where he was nurtured by his parents, Hidetoshi Hanyu, a junior high school teacher, and Yumi Hanyu, a former department store clerk.
