Wesley Hunt, an American politician, was born on November 13, 1981, and is known for his current role as the U.S. representative for Texas’s 38th congressional district since 2023.
Hunt, a member of the Republican Party, ran for Texas’s 7th congressional district in the 2020 elections, securing victory in the Republican primary with 61% but ultimately losing the general election to incumbent Democrat Lizzie Fletcher.

Emily, 41, is presently employed full-time at Texas Children’s Hospital as the Advanced Practice Provider Manager at Texas Children’s Urgent Care since 2021, having served as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2016.
Additionally, she serves as a board member of the Statewide Health Coordinating Council of Texas.
Working from 2006 to 2013, totaling over seven years, she fulfilled the role of a registered nurse at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Following that period, she served as a Critical Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Mercy Hospital from 2013 to 2016.

Wesley Hunt and Emily Dague Hunt tied the knot on March 17, 2018. Emily Dague and Wesley Hunt had Union Station in their plans over three years before they got married. Emily recalled:
We visited the station when we first started dating, and I remarked how amazing it would be to get married there someday.
Her dream became a reality as 200 guests gathered at the historic train station to witness and support the couple exchanging vows in a personalized ceremony officiated by Wesley’s youth pastor.
“Lucky to walk by his side,” Emily remarks of Wesley, who adorned himself with a silk bow tie and velvet tuxedo jacket.
Wesley and Emily Dague Hunt have three children together: two daughters and a son.
Emily gave birth to their first daughter, Victoria Rose Hunt, at 1:06 am on February 9, 2019, marking the start of Wesley and Emily’s parenthood journey. Victoria is currently 5 years old as of 2024.
Their second daughter, Olivia Lily Hunt, was born on September 25, 2020, bringing immense happiness to Wesley and Emily. Olivia Lily is 3 years old as of 2024.
Willie “Will” Parish Hunt II, their third child and son, was born on December 27, 2022, at 6:33 am. He is currently 1 years old as of 2024.
Will’s premature birth and subsequent need for neonatal intensive care compelled Hunt to exit the Speaker of the House election on its fourth day, causing him to miss the 12th and 13th ballots before returning later the same day.
With the birth of Will, their family expanded to five members, bringing them even closer together.
