In addition, Emma played a pivotal role as a founding partner and Chief Product Officer in Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand, Skims. Her involvement also extended to Safely, a plant-based cleaning brand she co-founded with Kris Jenner.

The serial entrepreneur made history as the first Black woman to serve as an investor on the acclaimed ABC series Shark Tank during its 13th season. 

In 2021, Emma’s accomplishments were acknowledged as featured in WWD’s “Moguls in the Making” issue, cementing her status as a serial entrepreneur.

Her involvement as the CEO and Co-Founder of Good American highlights her dedication to creating a fully inclusive fashion brand that celebrates the diverse dimensions of female power.

Emma Findlay Grede was born to a mother of white ethnicity, Jenny-Lee Findlay, and a father of Jamaican and Trinidadian descent. Grede’s family heritage gives her a rich and diverse ethnic background.

My mom and I, we’d say, ‘She [Findlay] is the dad, I’m the mom, so we have three kids together.’ It’s a pretty interesting dynamic in my family.

Emma Grede married Jens Grede, a Swedish entrepreneur, on July 8, 2021. Their relationship began as a professional partnership and eventually became a romantic bond. 

Jens, also well-versed in the fashion industry, collaborates with Kim Kardashian on the SKIMS shapewear line.

In addition to their achievements, Emma and Jens co-own Saturday Group, a London-based marketing and branding company. They also serve as co-editors of Industrie magazine.

The Grede family is blessed with 4 children. Emma’s firstborn was her son, Grey, and her secondborn was her daughter, Lola. Emma often shares snippets of their family life on her Instagram, expressing her gratitude for her children. 

In late October 2021, the family joyfully welcomed twins, a boy named Rafferty and a girl named Lake, born via a gestational carrier.
