Born on February 14, 1943, Griselda Blanco Restrepo was a Colombian drug lord in the Miami underworld from the 1970s to the early 2000s. At the age of 69, she was later killed in Medellín on September 3, 2012.

Born in Cartagena, she moved to Medellín at a young age, exposed to a criminal lifestyle at the age of 11. Her early criminal activities, including pickpocketing, began at age 11.

At 19, she ran away to escape abuse linked to her criminal activities, such as pickpocketing. Eventually, she resorted to theft in Medellín.
