Demi Moore Parents

Demi Moore was born to her parents, Charles Foster Harmon Sr. and Virginia, on November 11, 1962. Her Air Force airman father and a homemaker mother were married in February 1963.

Unfortunately, after only 2 months of marriage, the father of the Ghost star left her 18-year-old pregnant mother before she gave birth.

When she was three months old, Moore’s mom married Dan Guynes, a newspaper advertising salesman known for his job changes, leading to numerous relocations for the family.

Later, Moore alongside her mother and stepfather, Dan, welcomed her half-brother, Morgan. Moore mentioned in 19s91:

“My dad is Dan Guynes. He raised me. There is a man who would be considered my biological father who I don’t really have a relationship with.”

While Moore has half-siblings from her father, Charlie Harmon’s other marriages, she doesn’t stay in touch with them. Her half-siblings are James Craig Harmon, Charlotte Harmon Eggar, and Charles Harmon Jr.

After marrying and divorcing Virginia twice, Moore’s stepfather, Dan Guynes, died by suicide on October 20, 1980, a year after their second divorce from each other.

Her mum posed nude for the magazine High Society in 1993, where she parodied Moore’s Vanity Fair pregnancy, body paint covers, and her clay scene from Ghost. Moore and Guynes reconciled shortly before Guynes died of a brain tumor on July 2, 1998.

Her biological father, Harmon, died in 1997 from liver cancer in Brazoria, Texas, while her mother, Virginia, also passed away from cancer at the age of 54.

Her maternal grandmother was raised on a farm in Elida, New Mexico. Moore’s roots are deeply intertwined with the South Central and Southern United States, particularly in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Georgia.

Moore was born cross-eyed and later underwent surgery to correct the condition. Additionally, she struggled with kidney dysfunction.

Demi Moore Family Life & Kids

Demi Moore has been married and divorced three times, and she has three children with her second husband, Bruce Willis.

Her first marriage to Freddy Moore in February 1980 ended in September 1984 when Demi filed for divorce, and it was finalized in August 1985.

After her first marriage, Demi wed Bruce Willis, an American actor, film producer, and singer, on November 21, 1987.

They have three daughters: Rumer Willis, Scout, and Tallulah. To safeguard their children’s privacy, they raised them in Moore’s hometown of Hailey, Idaho.

Rumer Glenn Willis, the eldest daughter, was born on August 16, 1988, in Paducah, Kentucky, and was named after author Rumer Godden.

Rumer Willis, Demi Moore’s oldest daughter, made her screen debut alongside her mom in “Now and Then” in 1995, and they continued to work together in films like “Striptease” in 1996.

On April 18, 2023, Rumer became a mother herself when she and her boyfriend, Thomas, welcomed their daughter, Louetta Isley Thomas Willis.

Scout LaRue Willis, Demi’s second daughter, was born in Sun Valley, Idaho, on July 20, 1991.

Although she keeps a lower profile than her siblings, Scout gained some attention with her single “Woman at Best” in May 2022 and her debut album, “Scout LaRue Willis,” released on June 24, 2022.

Tallulah Belle Willis, the youngest, born on February 3, 1994, manages her own clothing line, Wyllis, contributing 10% of its sales to the Loveland Foundation.

Demi’s marriage to Bruce Willis, the father of her three daughters, ended amicably in 2000 after over a decade together.

Following a brief relationship with actor Ashton Kutcher, they married in 2005 but divorced in 2013.
