Mike Macdonald wife, Stephanie Broman, is a former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader. The couple tied the knot in 2021.
The American football coach presently holds the position of head coach for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL).
Before taking on this role, he worked as the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens from 2022 to 2023.
Born Michael MacDonald on June 26, 1987, in Boston, Massachusetts, America, he grew up in Roswell, Georgia, attending Centennial High School.
At Centennial, he participated in both baseball and football, though his senior year playing time was restricted due to injuries.
Later, he pursued higher education at the University of Georgia, focusing on finance and graduating with summa cum laude honors.
Even during his time as a student at Georgia, Macdonald took on coaching responsibilities for high school football at Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, Georgia.
Prior to this, Mike worked as an assistant coach for the Baltimore Ravens and gained coaching experience at the University of Michigan.
In May 2010, he became part of Mark Richt’s coaching staff, taking on the role of a graduate assistant for the Georgia Bulldogs football program.
His responsibilities extended to serving as a safeties and defensive quality control coach at Georgia from 2011 to 2013.
During this period, in 2013, while actively coaching at Georgia, Macdonald earned a master’s degree in sports management.

Mike Macdonald and his wife, Stephanie Broman Macdonald, have been happily married since 2021.
Stephanie, a former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication focusing on Public Relations and a Minor in Sociology from Virginia Tech.
She started cheerleading at the age of 5 to improve her spelling skills, and in 2013, she became a Ravens cheerleader, a year before Mike started coaching for the team.
Before joining the Ravens, she cheered for the Tennessee Titans for two years and was also an NFL cheerleader for the Washington Commanders.
Currently, Stephanie has been working as an account executive at CCS Medical since October 2020.
Prior to this, she was a sales and marketing specialist at Kure Pain Management from October 2015 to September 2019.
Broman also worked as an event sales representative for The EPIC Brands from November 2014 to October 2015, gaining additional experience as a sales representative for FSC Pediatrics and Prairie Life Fitness Center.
Apart from her professional life, Stephanie has volunteered for the Angels Foundation, Angels Race Triathlon, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore.

On January 31, 2024, Michael Macdonald officially took on the position of head coach for the Seattle Seahawks.
This decision followed Pete Carroll’s departure from the head coaching position to assume an executive role.
According to reports from The New York Post, Macdonald underwent an initial interview on January 30 and returned for a second interview the following day.
Sports journalist Tom Pelissero has indicated that Macdonald is set to sign a six-year contract with the Seahawks.
