Lex Fridman shares Jewish ancestry. Whilst Lex hasn’t disclosed much about his religious views, it’s obvious that his Jewish background has influenced his principles and worldview.
Lex Fridman is a Russian-American computer scientist and hosts the Lex Fridman Podcast.
Fridman joined Google in 2014. However, he resigned from the company after just six months of employment.
Later, in 2015, he moved to MIT’s AgeLab, where he worked on “psychology and big-data analytics to understand driver behavior.”
Fridman rose to popularity in 2019 after co-authoring a non-peer-reviewed study that concluded that drivers remained attentive while using Tesla’s semi-autonomous system, which was praised by Elon Musk but critiqued by artificial intelligence experts.
In 2020, he renamed his podcast to The Lex Fridman Podcast from its original title, The Artificial Intelligence Podcast, which he started in 2018.

Later, West had a two-and-a-half-hour appearance on the Lex Fridman Podcast. During the talk, Fridman, who is Jewish, asked West whether he had someone in his life who would “call you out on your bulls**t” to which West responded, “What’s my bulls**t?”

Ye persisted in asserting, nevertheless, that the Jewish media harassed him.
The podcast interview between Lex Fridman and Kanye West gained a lot of buzz online and on social media. Several social media users also commended the former for how he handled Ye’s antisemitic comments.
