Born on October 8, 1995, Herbo dropped out of school at 16, having attended Hyde Park Academy High School.

G Herbo has kept most aspects of his personal life private, particularly those involving his family members.
There has not been any information regarding his siblings but in a tweet from 2016, Herbo mentions his little sister leaving her dog in his room.
Gregory Jackson III, also known as Lil Greg, was one of the close associates of the Chicago rapper who had been with him since childhood and was like a brother to him.
