In July 2020, Rickey’s daughter, Aaryn Smiley faced a life-threatening situation when she was shot in a road rage incident in Houston.
Smiley, on his radio show, shared that Aaryn is currently in a Houston hospital, doing reasonably well, and awaiting surgery.
Aaryn herself provided an update on her condition, expressing the incident as the scariest moment in her life.
Alongside an Instagram Story photo of a blood-stained car seat, she revealed that her recovery would keep her in the hospital for an extended period, and walking would be a challenge due to nerve damage.
