Nathan Bartholomew Morris, the founding member of Boyz II Men, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 18, 1971, into a rather music-centric environment which played a significant role in his life aspirations.
His family members, particularly his mother, nurtured his interest in music from a young age.
The artist, like a lot of other R&B performers, developed his love of singing and sharpened his vocal skills through active participation in choir events.
In his late teens, Morris, along with friends Wanya Morris (no relation) and Shawn Stockman, formed the R&B group Boyz II Men.

The singer has largely kept his family life private, focusing more on his music career but he has always mentioned his mother who has always been a very supportive figure for him.

While there hasn’t been much information about the early life of his mother, Gail Harris, she has appeared in some events with her son.
One of her first appearances was on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1997 when her son and his group Boyz II Men performed and she was also seen in the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in 2016.
There have been rumors going around that the mother of the R&B singer has died recently but there hasn’t been any confirmation by the family.
However, in one of the recent concerts, Nathan of Boyz II Men broke down while trying to perform one of their hit song A Song For Mama which could insinuate that his mother has indeed died.
This Spring, The UK Will Be Boyz II Men’s New Destination
Boyz II Men have revealed their short spring tour schedule in the UK this spring.
The American R&B trio is scheduled to visit the country in April for three shows, with the first one taking place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley.
After that, they’ll go to the O2 Academy in Birmingham and the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester.
Speaking ahead of their visit, the group said;
After their original London show at Wembley’s OVO Arena was sold out, the trio will be performing twice more in the capital and then twice more in Manchester and Birmingham.
With a second date added to the already announced dates, Boyz II Men stated that they are undoubtedly feeling the love and that they hope the fans feel the same way.
