Logic extended an invitation to Budden’s father to feature on his podcast, “Logically Speaking,” where emotions ran high as they delved into childhood trauma.
However, Budden remained unmoved by the interview, expressing pity for the rapper from College Park.
Budden conveyed his sympathy for Logic stating:
I feel sorry for the people that run around uncomfortable with self. I feel sorry for the people that feel like they have to speak down on the parents because they have resentments. If you want to do that, you don’t have to do that on camera for the sake of content.
He went on to speculate that Logic may carry a significant amount of internalized self-hatred, which surfaces in peculiar manners.

Throughout his artistic journey, Logic has consistently delved into the absence of his father, a drug addict who was scarcely present in his life.
